Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga in which students perform postures and breathing exercises with the aid of a chair. Students can experience yoga's many benefits without getting up or down from the floor. Classes focus on releasing tension & creating a connection with the breath while gaining body awareness. It also increases students' range of motion, balance, strength, and flexibility. Each class will offer an opportunity to practice different breath or meditation techniques. This is an excellent form of yoga for beginners or anyone who wants to focus on a more gentle practice.
